What drew me to Daniela Grothe’s work is the reminder that a life can look ordinary from the outside while feeling very different on the inside. That quiet gap deserves a place in our conversations and our stories.
These short stories and drabbles explore high sensitivity and its effects on daily life. Based on or inspired by real experiences, the pieces offer glimpses of the ups and downs that can remain invisible to other people.
What I appreciate is the invitation to pay closer attention. I’m pleased to share writing that may help readers recognize something of themselves—or approach someone else’s experience with a little more understanding.
